If a parent’s historically tidy home is suddenly cluttered, dusty, or smelling of unwashed laundry, it’s a sign they may no longer have the physical energy or stamina to keep up with homemaking.
2. An Empty or Expired Refrigerator
Take a look in the kitchen. Pots left on the stove, expired milk, or a lack of fresh groceries can indicate that grocery shopping and cooking have become too overwhelming or confusing for them to manage.
