1. Appointment Cancellation by the Patient
- Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled at least 6 hours before the scheduled service time without any charge.
- Cancellations made less than 6 hours before the scheduled time may be subject to a cancellation fee, depending on the service type and resources already allocated.
- Failure to be available at the provided address at the scheduled time will be treated as a no-show, and charges may apply.
2. Cancellation by Sila Al Shifa Home Healthcare
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule an appointment due to:
- Medical staff unavailability
- Emergency situations
- Force majeure events (e.g., extreme weather, government restrictions)
In such cases, patients will be offered:
- A rescheduled appointment, or
- A full refund for any prepaid service.
3. Refund Policy
- Refunds are applicable only for prepaid services that were canceled within the permitted cancellation window.
- Services that have already been partially or fully delivered are non-refundable.
- Laboratory tests are non-refundable once samples have been collected.
- Doctor or nurse visits are non-refundable once the healthcare professional has arrived at the patient’s location.
Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method within 7–14 business days, subject to bank processing times.
4. Emergency & Special Circumstances
We understand that emergencies may occur. In exceptional cases (such as medical emergencies), cancellation fees may be waived at our discretion upon review.
5. Changes to Services
If you wish to change the type of service (e.g., nurse visit to doctor visit), please notify us as early as possible. Additional charges may apply depending on service availability.
